Red Wings' Legend stops by Sports Final Edition

DETROIT, Mich. – Detroit Red Wings' legend Darren McCarty has written a tell-all book about his life and career titled "My Last Fight: The True Story of a Hockey Rock Star."

McCarty, who played 15 seasons in the NHL, played with the Red Wings from 1993-2004 and again from 2007-2009. Known for his role as the enforcer, McCarty won four Stanley Cup Championships with the Red Wings.

Looking back on a memorable career, Darren McCarty recounts his time as one of the most visible and beloved members of the Detroit Red Wings as well as his personal struggles with addiction, finances, women and his daily battles to overcome in his new memoir My Last Fight.
