Detroit City FC has 2 big matches this weekend

City remains undefeated heading into games against Erie, Buffalo

DETROIT – Detroit City FC will play two matches this weekend beginning Friday night at Cass Tech High School.

Friday night's match is against the Erie Admirals (1-0-3), the team that knocked DCFC out of the playoffs last season, ruining an otherwise unbeaten record. This one should be a dandy.

Detroit (4-1-0) is coming off of a road trip to Cincinnati where they beat the Saints, 3-2. Then they traveled to Indiana for a June 1 match in which they tied the Fire, 2-2.

After Friday night's game an auction will be held for special game-worn jerseys which support LGBQT inclusion in sports.
