DETROIT – It's sure to be a bittersweet night at Joe Louis Arena, as the Detroit Red Wings play their final season opener before moving to a new arena.
There will be several million "finals" at Joe Louis Arena this season. Monday will be the final home opener, and it comes against the Ottawa Senators.
Detroit enters the game 0-2 on the 2016 season. Ottawa is unbeaten in their first two games, so the final home opener would be a good time for the Red Wings to get going in the right direction.
