DETROIT – Detroit Lion great Greg Landry will be inducted into the Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame Thursday night.
Landry was one of the earliest quarterbacks to pose a rushing threat to opposing defenses, gaining over 2600 yards and 21 touchdowns over 14 years in the NFL.
He also set several Lions passing records and was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 1976.
He finished his career with the Bears in 1984.
