DETROIT - Eli Kraft threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score Friday and Harbor Beach beat Beal City 35-10 to win the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 8 state football championship.

Both teams end the season with 13-1 records.

Kraft's two long touchdown passes gave Harbor Beach a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter at Ford Field in Detroit. He hit Aaron Ginther for 54 yards and found Travis Essenmacher for a 69-yarder in the opening quarter.

Kraft threw for 168 yards and ran for 70.
