1:01 -- Gustav Nyquist gets a decent shot on Tuukka Rask. Kyle Quincey got his own decent shot a short time later.

3:33 -- The Bruins hit the post. Justin Abdelkader got into a scrum with Jordan Caron. Both went to the box for roughing. The teams are 4-on-4.
7:40 -- Red Wings called for too many men on the ice. Bruins get first opportunity with man advantage.
9:00 -- BOSTON GOAL -- Dougie Hamilton ripped it top shelf on the power play to put the Bruins up 1-0.
12:06 -- Shots are 8-1 in favor of Boston.
15:48 -- BOSTON GOAL -- A turnover on a Red Wings line change allows Boston to get in alone on Jimmy Howard and make it 2-0. Caron put back the rebound.

6:40 -- Darren Helm rang one off the post on a shorthanded rush down the wing.
The Red Wings killed off the penalty.
8:50 -- Shots are 19-6 in favor of Boston.
9:43 -- Marchand goes to the box for holding Nyquist's stick. Red Wings get their first power play chance.
11:-08 -- Red Wings get 35-second 5-on-3 PP as Bruins get called for too many men on the ice. They can't score with 2-man advantage, but remain on PP.

3:00 -- Abdelkader had a chance on the backhand in front of Rask, who made the save, sprawling with his glove hand to keep the Wings scoreless.
9:57 -- Kevan Miller shot the puck out of play from his own zone to draw a delay of game penalty. The Red Wings go to the power play. The Bruins escape again.
18:01 -- Patrice Bergeron makes it 3-0 on an empty net goal.
