Unless you live under a rock, you know that the 2012 Masters Tournament wrapped up this past weekend.
Tiger Woods put on a great show of how NOT to handle one’s self when things are not going well.
In the midst of cursing, club dropping and kicking his 9 iron about 20 yards, Tiger was the picture of poor sportsmanship and demonstrated virtually no self control.
What some people don’t know is that the tournament champion, Bubba Watson, also used to be known for his colorful personality and temper.
In fact, Bubba came very close to losing his caddy (a close friend) because of his antics.
For the past four years, he has been working on controlling his emotions and has gained appreciation for what he gets to do for a living.
There was not a dry eye in our house as a humble Bubba finished the sudden death playoff with a victory.
The way he handled himself during play and after the win were perfect examples of a real champion.
Congratulations Bubba on the win and showing us an example of sportsmanship, focus and appreciation. Well done!
