Harbaugh expands Michigan satellite camp to California

Since NCAA lifted ban, Wolverines head coach pushing camps nationwide

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is taking his satellite camp to California, according to a report on 247sports.com.

The website reports Harbaugh and his staff will hold a camp at California's Antioch High School, which happens to be where the No. 1 recruit in the country, running back Najee Harris, goes to school. Harris verbally committed to Alabama, but Michigan is still recruiting him.

The California camp is the latest from Harbaugh, who has already announced camps in football hotbed including Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Earlier this year the NCAA shutdown satellite camps after SEC teams objected to Harbaugh invading their recruiting territory. The ban was overturned and Harbaugh appears to be expanding his camps to across the country.

Michigan announced a June camp at South Alabama last week, according to AL.com.

Some college coaches are calling the satellite camps illegal recruiting, while others, like Ohio State, are getting in on the action.
