Plymouth Whalers even series with Guelph Storm with 5-2 win
Whalers erase 2-0 deficit, look forward to Game 5 Saturday in Plymouth

The Plymouth Whalers have erased a 2-0 series deficit.
The Whalers topped the Guelph Storm Thursday night, 5-2, to even the opening round playoff series at 2-2.
Whalers left winger Mitchell Heard put in the go-ahead goal in the third period. Alex Aleardi gave Plymouth two more insurance goals and the Storm couldn't rally back.
Guelph outshot Plymouth 14-7 in the first period and had two goals waived off.
Whalers goalie Scott Wedgewood gave a solid performance with 31 saves.
Despite a shaky start, Plymouth outshot Guelph 34-33.
They will look to take the lead in this series in Game 5 on Saturday at Compuware Arena.
