Red Wings beat Lightning, 4-0, to take 3-2 series lead

Game 6 is Monday in Detroit

The Detroit Red Wings beat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 4-0, Saturday in Tampa to take a 3-2 series lead. 

Detroit goalie Petr Mrazek made 28 saves for his second shutout of the series.

Riley Sheahan put the Red Wings on the board first with a power play goal in the opening period on a nice passing play which found him open on his forehand at the right face-off dot. He beat goalie Ben Bishop high glove side. 

About 4 minutes into the 2nd period, Drew Miller scored on the rebound of a shot from the wing by Luke Glendening, making in 2-0. 

Steven Stamkos was called for hooking Justin Abdelkader and Pavel Datsyuk made it 3-0 on the ensuing power play at 15:47 of the 3rd period. 

The Lightning pulled Bishop for an extra attacker with just more than 3 minutes remaining in regulation. Dan DeKeyser flung the puck from his own goal line to the open net, making it 4-0. 

Game 6 is Monday night in Detroit.
