DETROIT – The Plymouth Whalers topped the Kitchener Rangers 2-0 on Sunday to bring the second-round series to a 1-1 tie.
Whalers goalie Scott Wedgewood made 26 saves in the Game 2 road win for Plymouth. They outshot the Rangers 45-26. Matt Mistele and Andy Bathgate had the goals.

Kitchener beat Plymouth on Friday at Compuware.
Game 3 is Tuesday night back at Compuware. Game 4 will be played Wednesday in Kitchener and Game now is scheduled for Saturday night in Plymouth.
