Infiniti draws inspiration from partnership with Red Bull Racing

Detroit – Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. plans to reveal a new high-design concept car at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.

"From our shared passion for performance with Infiniti Red Bull Racing grew a collective desire to produce a vision of what a high-performance Infiniti Q50 could look like," says Executive Design director Alfonso Albaisa. "The design has a number of distinctive Formula One inspired touches. In particular, the sculpted front wing assembly and the rear aerodynamic packaging takes their cues from the RB9 race car."

Infiniti is headquartered in Hong Kong with sales operations in approximately 50 countries.

The company's new VP of the Americas, Michael Bartsch, will be on hand at NAIAS to answer questions. Bartsch spent 20 years at Porsche.
