LOS ANGELES – Kirk Cameron's Christmas-themed movie got a sack of coal at the 35th Golden Raspberry Awards in Hollywood Saturday night.
The Razzies for worst picture, worst, actor, worst screenplay and worst screen combo (Cameron and his ego) all went to "Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas," the Los Angeles Times reported.
The other films nominated for worst picture were "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "Left Behind," "The Legend of Hercules" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
The annual pummeling of the worst cinematic offerings of the year also picked on Cameron Diaz, slapping her with a worst actress Razzie for her efforts in "The Other Woman" and "Sex Tape," the newspaper said. "Annie," another Diaz film, got a Razzie for worst remake, rip-off or sequel.
The worst supporting actress designation went to Megan Fox, who appeared in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
Kelsey Grammer was bestowed the worst supporting actor Razzie for his roles in "The Expendables 3," "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return," "Think Like a Man Too" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction."
Michael Bay was dubbed worst director for "Transformers."
People magazine noted there was something new from the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation this year -- a chance for redemption. Razzies founder John Wilson said Affleck, who previously been on the receiving end of Razzie worsts, was given the first Razzie Redeemer Award for his work in "Argo" and "Gone Girl."
