Tigers agree to terms with eight players

Team has all 40 players on 40-man roster under contract

DETROIT - The Detroit Tigers announced Saturday that the club has agreed to terms with the following eight players on contracts for the 2014 season: right-handed pitchers Melvin Mercedes and Bruce Rondon, left-handed pitchers Jose Alvarez and Ian Krol, catcher Bryan Holaday, and infielders Steve Lombardozzi, Francisco Martinez and Hernan Perez.

With these eight players agreeing to terms, the Tigers now have all 40 players on the club's 40-man roster under contract for the 2014 season.
