DETROIT - Bad weather in the South has canceled Wednesday's scheduled game between the Detroit Pistons and the Atlanta Hawks.

The teams were supposed to meet in Atlanta at Philips Arena, but the NBA issued a statement saying the game would be resheduled for a later date due to severe weather conditions.

The Pistons were unable to make their scheduled flight into Atlanta the night before.
