DETROIT – With the 4th pick in the 2nd round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions have selected CB Darius Slay out of Mississippi State.
Detroit drafted Slay Friday night, a day since taking BYU defense end Ziggy Ansah with the 5th pick in the 1st round.

Slay had five interceptions last season and returned one of them for a touchdown.
The Lions have a spot for him to start opposite veteran cornerback Chris Houston. The 6-foot, 192-pound Slay is from Brunswick, Ga.
