DETROIT - The 2013 North American International Auto Show officially opened to the public on Saturday, Jan. 19, and will remain open through Jan. 27, 2013.
Whether this is your first time to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit or you attend the show annually, there is something new and exciting for everyone heading downtown.
First, there are the cars. Without a doubt, automakers have come up with some pretty awesome vehicles this year, including some new concepts like the Ford Atlas, Toyota Fun-Vii and Honda EV-STER.
If you're looking for some fun, there are plenty of exhibits to try out, including the 1963 Chevy Greenbrier exhibit, where you can create your own personal flip book.
Finally, after experiencing some of the first few exhibits at NAIAS, you may need to recharge your batteries. Inside the Lincoln Personal Soundscape, you can channel your inner REM sleep, and for your cellphones, Chevrolet offers cellphone charging zones called "Plug Charge Chill" stations.
Before heading out, be sure to download the free official North American International Auto Show app for your iOS or Android device. The app offers a floor map of where each exhibit is located inside Cobo Center, all packed full of information to help you find parking downtown, places to eat, and even the latest weather conditions.
See you there!
