DETROIT – One of the most powerful agents in the NBA is set to leave his career behind to join the Detroit Pistons front office.
Arn Tellem will leave his position as vice chairman of Wasserman Media Group to become vice chairman of Palace Sports and Entertainment, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Tellem will work directly with Pistons owner Tom Gores, but head coach Stan Van Gundy will continue to make personnel moves.
Tellem leaves behind a large client list, including NBA stars like LaMarcus Alridge, Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol, Al Horford, Joe Johnson, Russell Westbrook and many more.
Tellem is a Philadelphia native and was named "Most Influential Sports Agent" by The Sporting News in 2006. The HBO sitcom Arli$$ was loosely based on Tellem.
