DETROIT – It may not feel like it, but baseball season is right around the corner.
Pitchers and catchers report to Lakeland for spring training next week and with opening day just six weeks away, fans packed Comerica Park on Saturday to pick their seats for the upcoming season.
Potential season ticket holders got to take their seats for a test run.
“People walking won’t interfere with our vision,” said Tim Budzinski of Wyandotte. “Best access to the seats, concessions.”
Chris and Beth Dempster said they’ve had their eye on game packages for a while.
“They’re going to win, they will win, and we want to be part of it,” Chris Dempster said.
Opening day is April 8 against the New York Yankees.
