Derick Brassard beat Jimmy Howard with 12.9 seconds remaining in overtime Saturday night to give the Rangers the 3-2 win.

It's the Red Wings 4th loss in a row.

Drew Miller opened up the scoring in the 1st period when the Wings caught the Rangers in a two-on-one. But every time the Wings scored, the Rangers answered.

Benoit Pouliot scored on a power play to tie the game at one in the 2nd period.

Daniel Alfredsson's one-timer with time winding down in the second period gave the Wings the lead in the 2nd intermission.

The Rangers' Mats Zuccarello first goal of the season in the 3rd period tied the game once again.

The game looked as if it would head into a shootout before Brassard ended the game with 12.9 seconds to go.

Jimmy Howard made 37 saves in the loss.

Post-game Mike Babcock said his team 'allowed too many shots and gave up too many turnovers.'

The Wings have time to work on those things as they have a break before they head to Canada for a four-game road trip beginning Wednesday against the Canucks.
