Report: Knicks waive ex-Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings

The New York Knicks are waiving point guard Brandon Jennings, according to The Vertical.

The former Detroit Pistons point guard is averaging 8.6 points, 4.9 assists per game with New York.

Jennings was traded to Detroit in 2013, and spent 2 and a half seasons in Detroit before being traded to Orlando.

Before getting hurt in 2014, Jennings averaged 15 points, 6 assists per game with the Pistons, shooting 36 percent from the three point line.
