New York, NY -

Max Scherzer is going for his league-leading 19th win of the season Saturday as the Tigers go for their second win in a row at Citi Field.

Last night, the Tigers chased Daisuke Matsuzaka out of the game after just five innings of work. Matsuzaka allowed six hits, five runs.

Tigers won 6-1.

Saturday Scherzer (2.82 ERA) faces Mets' Matt Harvey (2.25 ERA).

Victor Martinez started as catcher Friday. Jim Leyland said post-game Friday night, Martinez would have Saturday off, but could be back in the lineup on Sunday.
