Detroit City FC save a draw in home opener

Hamtramck, MI – Detroit City FC and Ann Arbor FC played to a 1-1 draw at Keyworth. The game, which was the home opener for Detroit City FC,  was played in front of a sell out crowd of 7,410 fans.

Alec Lasinski got Detroit on the board at the end of the first half with a lovely chip over the Ann Arbor goalkeeper.

In the second half, Brett Nason of Detroit City FC took down Dario Suarez in the box, he was issued a red card. Suarez converted the Penalty Kick to even the score at 1-1.
