John Oliver buys Trinidad airtime to talk about FIFA scandal, Jack Warner

Comedian and tv host John Oliver has been on the warpath lately over allegations of corruption by FIFA officials. Oliver, a soccer fan and FIFA critic, famously promised to drink an entire bottle of Bud Light Lime if FIFA President Sepp Blatter resigned--and made good on the pledge.

But Oliver took his attacks on the soccer's governing body to another level when he purchased airtime on Trinidad's biggest tv station to respond to Jack Warner, the indicted ex-FIFA official and member of Trinidad's parliament.

Warner earlier had purchased his own airtime, responding to charges with a program entitled "The Gloves Are Off."
