Toyota bringing trio of hybrids to NAIAS 'Drive Green Experience'

Toyota, the world's top seller of hybrid vehicles, will be bringing a trio of hybrids to participate in the "Drive Green Experience" at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.

Located in Cobo Center's Michigan Hall, the indoor test track will provide journalists the opportunity to drive electric and hybrid vehicles from participating auto manufacturers during the auto show's Press Preview.  During the remainder of the show, visitors to the track will be driven around by product specialists.

Among Toyota's three representative vehicles will be the Prius liftback, the most fuel-efficient, gas-powered passenger car available in the U.S., with a fuel economy rating of 50 miles per gallon.  The other two cars are the Camry Hybrid, which earns 41 miles per gallon/combined, and the newly-introduced Avalon Hybrid, which achieves 40 miles per gallon/combined.
