DETROIT -

Open skating will begin Dec. 17 at Comerica Park as part of the Winter Festival.

Anyone interested in lacing up the skates at the ballpark-turned-ice-rink needs to get some tickets first. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

Ticket prices range from $15 for children (age 14 and under) and $25 for adults. Those who wish to view the open skating but not participate can get into the park for just $5.

There will be many chances to skate on the ice between Dec. 17 and Dec. 31. View the Comerica Park open skating schedule here.
