Viewers Can Get Free Glasses For First-Ever Event
A special 3D episode of "Medium" will air Monday, Nov. 21, at 10 p.m. on Local 4.
According to NBC.com, when "Medium" main character Allison, (Patricia Arquette) comes across the work of a popular artist , her visions take on an added intensity in the 3D episode.The NBC special will be the first show ever in television history to broadcast in 3D HDTV.Where To Get The Blue And Red ShadesArt Van Furniture locations. All 15 metro Detroit stores. See locations here. At Local 4 Studios, 500 W. Lafayette Blvd., Detroit. Sprint Street Team members will be handing out glasses at the following locations:
Thursday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 20: Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Park, Royal Oak and Great Lakes Crossing Mall
Friday, Nov. 18: Woodward in downtown Detroit, Cobo Hall and Ferndale.
Saturday, Nov. 19: Detroit Cultural Center, Wayne State University, New Center Area, Detroit Medical Center, Fox Theater, Comerica Park, Ford Field. TV Guide will include the glasses as an insert in an upcoming issue (on sale Nov. 14) and they will distribute them in subscription renewal notices. All "Shop NBC" purchases will include the 3D glasses when the order is shipped.
