Work on 12 Mile, Coolidge roads in Berkley pushed back one week

DETROIT – The Department of Public Works in Berkley has announced a one-week delay in a street reconstruction project.

Work was supposed to begin Tuesday to repave the intersection of 12 Mile Rd and Coolidge.

Officials said delays in getting equipment to contractors have pushed back the start date to June 26th.

Traffic will be rerouted during the project, which should still be finished on time, August 6th, in time for the Woodward Dream Cruise.
