Southwest to add nonstop flights from Flint to Vegas

Southwest airlines to add flights to Bishop International Airport in Flint, Michigan

FLINT, Mich. – Southwest airlines is adding flights to Bishop International Airport in Flint, Michigan.

Monday, the airlines announced they will launch nonstop flights from Flint to Vegas on August 11th.

"This is fantastic news. We know the region has a huge population of travelers who love to go to Las Vegas. With this new route, that is made quick and easy. Plus, Southwest Airlines has approximately 200 flight per day to Las Vegas connecting Flint to over 50 destinations," said Airport Director Jim Rice.

Bishop airport is currently served by AirTran and will switch to Southwest service in August.

To celebrate the nonstop service Southwest is offering a special fare of $179 one-way from Flint to Vegas, for a limited time.
