Beginning of Fall brings warm temps throughout week

Cool start with sunshine on the way

DETROIT – It will feel like we're deep into fall as we start the work and school week.

Morning lows are in the 40s with some clouds around this morning.

A brisk breeze from the NW is keeping feeling cooler and producing a few light showers in parts of Southern Ontario.

We'll hang onto a some cloud cover this morning but the sun will be busting out.

Even with the sun, a cool air mass is settled over us which keeps us in the upper 50s to low 60s all day. Winds will lighten up NW 5-12 mph.

More sunshine will greet you tomorrow with a nice and quick change to warmer winds.

Those winds are crucial and will warm us into the 70s starting on Tuesday.

Clear skies early tomorrow will lead to more temps in the 40s early on, but that may be the last of the widespread 40s for the entire week.

More midweek sunshine is expected with mid 70s and we could be flirting with 80 degrees by Thursday or Friday.

In fact, there's no sign of any rain for the entire work week, and the weekend ahead looks dry.

That's great news for the area JDRF Walks on Sunday.

We are walking for a cure in Warren at the GM Tech Center and hope to see you there. Get your complete 7 Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
