Camper Crash Closes Stretch Of Freeway

A rollover crash involving a camper closed a section of Interstate 96 Friday morning.

The crash occurred on westbound I-96, west of Pinckney Road, according to Local 4 Traffic. The trailer camper may have been connected to a sport utility vehicle, which was towed from the scene on a flatbed truck, the station learned.

Minor injuries were reported from the crash, according to Michigan State Police in Brighton.

It was not known when the camper would be cleared from the scene and the freeway would reopen.
