The following cities in southeastern Michigan have declared a snow emergency Friday:Macomb County
- Sterling Heights
- City of Monroe
- Ferndale Hazel Park Madison Heights Oak Park Rochester Hills
- Allen Park Brownstown Township Dearborn Flat Rock Garden City Inkster Livonia Plymouth Rockwood Riverview Taylor Trenton Wayne Westland Woodhaven
- During inclement weather, cities will enforce a prohibition that prevents parking along side streets. Motorists who park along these routes may be ticketed and/or towed as crews try to keep streets clear. It is the owner's responsibility to remove any disabled vehicle that is parked along a snow emergency route. Public schools, homeowners and businesses are responsible for clearing the snow on their sidewalks within the first 24 hours of a snowfall. Sidewalks and parking lots around city offices and municipal facilities will be cleared by city crews.
