Clouds return Presidents' Day, but not as cold

DETROIT -

The day honoring Presidents of the United States starts cold but ends up not so much.  Morning lows will be in the middle and low teens with sunshine for the start of holiday activities.  Clouds build, but a southerly wind at 9 to 15 mph will blow in air with temps near 40.

Clouds will produce rain by Tuesday morning with overnight temps in the middle and upper 30s.  Tuesday will be wet then snowy with falling afternoon temps.  It will be come blustery, too, with wind speeds increasing to 15 to 25 mph and gusts near or over 30 mph.

Wednesday will become partly sunny and colder with lows in the teens and highs near 25.  Wednesday night will become frigid with lows near 10.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and cold with highs in the low 20s.
