DETROIT -

Monday morning will be cool with temps starting near 40.
Skies will be mostly sunny but turn cloudier in the afternoon. 

It will turn into a mild day with highs near 60 degrees.

Showers and thunderstorms will move from west to east across Southeast Michigan during the afternoon commute.

Mild, unstable air remains over southern Michigan and Detroit through Wednesday.

Showers and a few storms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.

Each day will begin with cool and chilly mornings with lows in the 30s. Daytime temps will be in the 50s on Tuesday and near 50 Wednesday.

Thursday and the end of the work-week will be chillier.
