Saturday brings perfect weather in metro Detroit

DETROIT – The showers and storms are heading east, leaving Michigan high and dry for a few days.

That's great news for all the Parrotheads heading to the Jimmy Buffet concert in Detroit on Saturday. In fact, all of your outdoor plans are severe clear with highs today in the low to mid 80s and partly cloudy skies. The north winds will keep humidity down too and that makes all the difference.

We will see a bit more sunshine on Sunday so temps will be a couple of degrees warmer tomorrow. Not everyone received enough rain late in the week for the grass and gardens and you may have to keep watering on your own.

There's a chance for a few showers late Monday but we're talking a 20-30% coverage.

Tuesday looks better for wet weather.
