Spotty morning showers, but closer to 40 Wednesday
40 or more Wednesday and into the weekend
Wednesday morning will have a spotty shower with temps rising above freezing. Scattered light rain is more likely than snow or ice. However, precipitation will be mixing with an existing snow pack making some roads and walkways wet and slushy.
Showers will not last all day. It will be drier by lunchtime and afterward. Southwesterly winds will help temperatures rise to 40 degrees or a bit more in the afternoon.
Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with freezing fog forming after midnight. Temps will fall below freezing by Thursday morning, and an icy glaze will coat more untreated road surfaces and sidewalks.
Thursday afternoon will be cloudy with rain developing by sunset and highs near 40. Rain will continue into Friday. Some of it will be heavy at times with Thursday night lows in the mid 30s and Friday afternoon highs in the mid 40s. Saturday will be even warmer with highs in the low 50s and scattered rain.
Sunday will get chillier with rain and snow showers and temps falling from the 40s into the 30s.
