A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for areas south of 8 Mile from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

Light snow will redevelop toward morning, and pick up in intensity by mid-morning.

Areas in the advisory area should see a quick two to three inches of snow, while the M-59 counties will see an inch or two, with lower amounts the further north you go.

Once this system moves out, another one will move in Tuesday afternoon, and this one could give us another inch or two of fluffy snow.

After a break Wednesday, another storm system will move in on Thursday, and this one looks to be the most robust in the series of winter storms we’re seeing this week.

Thursday’s snow could potentially be in the two-to-four inch range.
