Saturday morning will be clear and delightful. Temperatures will start in the 60s. Saturday in the Park in Westland, Yoga in the Park in Bloomfield Hills or the opening of the Shelby Farmers Market in Shelby Township are terrific places to go to spend some quality family time. The weather will cooperate.

Saturday afternoon will be warm and mostly sunny. Highs will be between 80°F and 85°F. After 3pm, there is a chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm, especially north of 8 Mile. It will not be a wash-out, so Detroiters can keep their plans in tact to attend Muckfest 2015 in New Boston, the Charivari Music Festival on Belle Isle or the B. Nektar Festival in Ferndale.

Saturday evening will be fair and warm with temperatures in the 70s. Any scattered storms will disappear or move on quickly.

Saturday night will be mostly clear after midnight with lows in the middle and low 60s.

Sunday has an approaching cold front. It remains warm with highs in the low 80s. There is a better chance of showers and thunderstorms forming midday and Sunday afternoon. Some may contain heavy downpours and gusty winds. As always, the best place to be is indoors whenever there is any lightning.

Storms linger Monday with highs near 80°F. After the cold front passes, skies become sunnier Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It will be warm, but temps will be below average; in the middle and upper 70s. Lower humidity will make it feel wonderful each day.
