Black Friday rain continues, Saturday brings sunshine

Overnight lows drop to upper 20s, low 30s

DETROIT – Rain isn't as heavy or as widespread as earlier on this Black Friday. But light showers will hang around, like an unwanted houseguest, through the evening, and even past midnight in some spots.

This evening, expect those hit-and-miss sprinkles. Temperatures will be in the 30s. As temperatures continue to fall, there may be a few snowflakes as well. No accumulation is expected. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s and low 30s.

Sunshine will finally emerge on Saturday.  But we'll start the day with clouds before clearing wins out in the afternoon.  Expect more sunshine at kickoff for Michigan State's game against Penn State at 3:30 p.m. in East Lansing, than Michigan's contest against Ohio State at the Big House at noon. Highs will hit the low-to-mid 40s.

Sunday, we'll be in for all-day sunshine, but a colder start. Morning lows will be in the 20s before hitting the mid 40s in the afternoon.

Dry conditions last until rain returns on Tuesday. Temperatures will be pretty close to average through NEXT weekend. Check out the Forecast for all the numbers.
