Chill sticks around Thursday

Highs in the upper 40s

DETROIT – It's a jacket day for sure.

Lows in the upper 20s to low and mid 30s with flurries through 8 or 9am. Your Thursday afternoon will be mostly cloudy and breezy as highs struggle to hit 50 degrees. Expect mid to upper 40s with winds NW 8-18 mph gusting even higher.

Friday will be much nicer with sunshine and highs getting into the low 50s after a chilly morning near freezing. The models are split on Saturday with bringing rain into the area. For now, we'll call for a slight chance for a few showers but most of the wet weather will stay south into Indiana and Ohio. We'll at least see more clouds from that system and minor rain chances to start the weekend in the 50 degree range.

Sunday will be the nicer of the two weekend days with sun returning and highs into the mid and upper 50s. With a few flurries around early and Saturday rain chances.
