Cloudy and relatively mild Wednesday

Light snow during the morning commute for some

DETROIT – It's a cloudy and relatively mild Wednesday morning here in SE Lower Michigan.

That is, relative to the brutal cold we're getting too familiar with.

Lows in the mid teens with snow moving through SW Lower Michigan that will bring light snow during the morning commute to our southern counties.

Our models keep that snow south of most of Metro Detroit today, but we'll keep an eye on radar for you on Local 4 News Today.

And, of course you can track it right here as well.

A spotty midday snow shower is possible and the rest of today will simply be mostly cloudy and a bit warmer.

Highs should reach the middle 20s with cooler winds NNE 6-11 mph gusting 15 to 20 mph at times.

That will make it feel cooler so keep that winter coat streak going.

Mostly cloudy skies again Thursday after a cool start in the low teens to upper single digits.

Tomorrow afternoon will bring highs into the upper 20s, close to 30 degrees. We will see temps in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees by Friday.

The snow chance Friday has been pushed to Saturday morning and it looks to be very light.

The weekend will be a bit cooler in the low 30s and mostly dry before we warm a bit again next week.
