DETROIT – We are starting off this morning with cool temps and a bit of a breeze.
Skies are starting mostly cloudy and Bad Axe is reporting flurries in the Thumb! Wind chills are in the mid 20s to low 30s first thing today, but there is no deep freeze to worry about when it comes to any plants or vegetation you may be concerned about.
Breezes will mix the air and keep any frost away, and air temperatures will stay above freezing around most of Metro Detroit for most of the morning.
Sunshine mixed with a few clouds this afternoon with highs only in the mid 50s.
We have a couple of days below average (average highs are around 62° this time of year) and Thursday too will only see highs ranging from the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
Tomorrow looks better though with an approaching warm front and a steady flow of high cloudiness.
Rain will likely hold off until later in the evening and overnight into Friday.
A line of rain and possibly thundershowers will move through early on Friday which could impact the morning drive to end the work and school week.
Friday highs will attempt to climb into the mid and upper 60s after the rain showers but it will be short lived.
A Friday cold front sets the stage for another cool period heading into the weekend and beyond. Get your entire 7Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
