Mostly cloudy, cool on Monday

DETROIT – Clouds are looming around SE Michigan early on your Monday.  North winds are driving a few lake enhanced rain showers through the Thumb and down into parts of Metro Detroit this morning.

Don't worry too much about the wet weather today as the morning drizzle chances fade through the early morning. But, the clouds stick around making for another cooler day in the mid to possibly upper 50s today and cool breezes NNW 7-12 mph.

Sunshine returns for your Tuesday and most of Wednesday bringing high temps back into the low 60s if not a touch warmer. Clouds will fill in late Wednesday and into Thursday bringing our next rain chances. Expect rain showers on and off Thursday and that will knock highs back down into the 50s but only for a day.

Friday through the weekend looks great early. Sunshine comes roaring back to end the week and the weekend with highs in the mid 60s to near 70 degrees coming your way. It's early, so we will keep you updated if any big changes come your way.
