Cool night across southeast Michigan as Yom Kippur ends

Cool evening, remaining dry with temps near 60

DETROIT – Saturday evening will be clear and spectacular for the Tigers game at Comerica Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 p.m.

Detroit is taking on the Kansas City Royals to strengthen their standing and MLB playoff position. Temps will fall back to 60 degrees during the first half of the game. An extra Tigers sweatshirt, knit gloves and a cap will help fans stay warm and comfortable.

Sunset is at 7:44 p.m. ET for people observing Yom Kippur.

Saturday night will be cool, but not as chilly as the morning. Overnight lows will be 55 degrees or less under fair skies.

Sunday will be dry in the morning, but there is a chance of afternoon and evening rain showers. They will be scattered and may affect the 1pm Tigers/Royals game in downtown Detroit. The Lions are away in Arizona taking on the Cardinals. Afternoon temps will be near 70 degrees.

Monday becomes bright but cooler again with mostly sunny skies and highs near 65. Another warming trend arrive Tuesday and stays for the rest of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday will be near 70. Temps will be near 80 degrees later in the week.
