Cool start but warm up starts Thursday

Highs in the mid 70s

DETROIT – Another cool start with most of Metro Detroit dropping into the mid 50s as you step out early this Thursday morning. A few of our typically cooler suburbs may briefly hit the upper 40s.

Get ready to warm up starting slowly today reaching the mid and maybe upper 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We will see more steady sunshine as we hit the end of the work week.

Friday looks gorgeous around all of SE Michigan. In fact, most of the weekend will be wonderful as temps warm and conditions stay mostly dry. Friday highs will hit 80 degrees with mostly sunny skies.

Weekend temps will climb back into the 80s with a mix of clouds and sun Saturday and a few more clouds Sunday.

Sunday will also be a bit more humid and a storm system from the deep south will be moving into the Ohio Valley bringing the chance for a few isolated showers and storms here too. But, model data is not consistent or convincing and the weekend will be mostly dry.
