Cool start to Wednesday

Highs in the low 80s

DETROIT – You can expect a very nice start with hazy sunshine and patchy light fog turning to Wednesday sunshine. Afternoon sunshine mixed with a few passing clouds and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s again today.

Thursday is another carbon copy except that models keep trying to throw a random shower or two around the area tomorrow afternoon. And, maybe again Friday afternoon. Either way, we're not worried about any spoilers with those shower chances as they will be much more of a miss than a hit. So expect mostly to partly sunny the next few days with highs climbing a bit. Thursday high though will again be in the low 80s.Friday will be a bit more warm and muggy with highs climbing into the mid 80s. Watch out in the Thumb Region as a few late day showers are possible. Things heat up again this weekend with highs flirting with 90 degrees again. It looks like wet weather moves in late, late Saturday and may last through Sunday morning and early afternoon. We'll keep an eye on any and all changes.
