Cool start with dry week ahead

DETROIT – Shut down the AC for a while as cooler air is here for a short while.

Monday morning temps are falling through the 50s under mostly clear skies.

Sunday storms are racing east and we are storm free until maybe Saturday.

Expect sunshine today bringing temps into the mid and maybe upper 70s with breezy conditions WSW 10-20 mph.

Clouds will fill in for Tuesday and Wednesday as a slow moving weather maker crawls along to the north of Detroit.

Those clouds may try to bring an occasional sprinkle or light shower through the day tomorrow and midweek but we will also be mostly dry all week.

Lows fall into the 50s with highs tomorrow struggling to hit 70 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.

It will be a slow warm up starting late in the week as we see more sunshine coming through by Thursday and Friday as highs hit the mid to upper 70s later this week. Storms possible Saturday Night so, get the FREE Local4Casters Weather and Storm Pins apps to stay ahead of the summer storms.
