Cool start with rain chances Tuesday

isolated thundershowers will be likely after 1 or 2pm

DETROIT – Cool and very fall like 40s and low 50s early this Tuesday morning with partly to mostly cloudy skies.

The cool Canadian air continues to pool in for Tuesday afternoon with a few breaks in the clouds allowing early afternoon highs to hit the low 70s.

More clouds and rain chances thicken into the mid afternoon meaning scattered rain and isolated thundershowers will be likely after 1 or 2pm.

There will be scattered showers around in the evening, so bring your rain gear and dress warm for the Tiger's Game tonight at Comerica Park.

Scattered showers means baseball fans may get lucky and stay rain free, but those spotty showers shouldn't be enough to postpone the game if they hit downtown.

Conditions will start to improve a bit midweek with temps getting into the mid 70s Wednesday.

But, there will be a few midweek showers too.

Our computer models show rain chances just about every afternoon leading into the weekend ahead so we'll keep a close eye on the wet weather chances.

Considering it will be wet off and on and cooler than average, consider it a good week for the grass and garden. Get your complete 7 Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
