Cool temps Tuesday morning with warmer weather coming

Highs reach the mid 60s

DETROIT – Clear to partly cloudy skies this morning should lead to some visibility of the Aquarid meteors until daybreak.

Those clear skies are leading to cool temps and frost advisories north of 9 Mile in Metro Detroit.

So, our northern counties and up into the Thumb Region could see temps falling to near freezing or below early Tuesday.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will stick with us today as highs reach the mid 60s with light winds ENE 5-10 mph.

Wednesday and beyond will be very spring like with highs in the 60s again tomorrow and a good chance for scattered rain and thunder.

An approaching warm front will bring a few periods of unsettled weather starting tomorrow morning.

The latest model data only shows a few rain and thundershowers around SE Michigan Wednesday morning and afternoon.

Thursday will be a bit warmer with a few less clouds and stronger breezes.

Highs will be near 80° Thursday and hanging in the 70s Friday.

With the surge in temps, comes a threat for rain and thundershowers.

We will likely see more rain and thunder in the area late Thursday and again throughout your Friday. Get your entire 7Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
