Cooler air moving back into metro Detroit

Cold front is pushing through

DETROIT – The heat and poor air quality are moving out as cooler air is on the move back into Metro Detroit.

A cold front is pushing through SE Michigan this morning and that was the trigger for the rain and thundershowers early on this Wednesday.

But, most of the wet weather will be done by the time most of you hit the roads.

Watch out for some pooling and ponding during the early commute.

Temps cool down after the front with highs in the mid to upper 70s and mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies at times. Most of the day will be dry with more comfortable weather and nothing more than a few sprinkles today.

Dry and very comfortable weather settles in for Thursday and Friday with highs struggling to hit 80 degrees.

We will see some rain and thunder this weekend. Get your complete 7 Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
